Patricia Bajakova is an exciting Jazz singer and performer, with a big voice and powerful stage presence. She is energetic, soulful and when photographing her, I had to capture that essence.

We decided to shoot in St. Augustine's Abbey, Canterbury. The architectural ruins dating back to AD 597, provided us a rich and textural beauty. Combining the traditional inspirations of her musical style and contemporary take on covers, this was the perfect setting. Patricia wanted some light & vibrant shots that showcased her character & versatility as a performer. Posing alongside her regular contributor Jason Kavanagh, we struck the perfect tonal balance.
